Fairy Tales

Here are some sketches I made throughout the last monthes.
They are my interpretation of some fairy tales characters.

The first one is Snow White. It's not obvious here but I wanted to depict her youth and the contrast between her hair and skin. I will probably use this sketch as a base for an upcoming illustration. 

Second one is the nymph with the feather dress. It's a rather common tale in which a fisherman finds out a place where nymphes/fairies bathe and he stole one of the ladies feather's dress, making her unable to go back to her kingdom. I wanted the dress to be "alive" in a way, but a common pelt when unused.

Lastly, Donkey Skin (or All Furs, depending on the versions), one of my all time favourite tale. Here she's wearing the Sun dress under her donkey pelt.

I might make more of these sketches because I love fairy tales this much. ♥
